RepublicEN – The Energy and Enterprise Initiative

From the RepublicEN website: The Energy and Enterprise Initiative is an 501(c)(3) educational effort based at George Mason University. We are a small team committed to building public understanding of free enterprise and its promise to solve energy and climate challenges. We opened up shop in July 2012. For our first couple years, we spoke with thousands of conservatives and free-market advocates around the country. We discovered that a robust constituency exists for conservative leadership on clean energy and climate change. We met a lot of conservatives who shared three things in common: They’re energy optimists, confident that market-driven innovation can accelerate an energy revolution; They’re climate realists, compelled by the evidence that climate risk requires risk management; and They are pumped to learn that they’re not alone. On 11-12-14 we launched the republicEn community to be the home base for energy optimists and climate realists.   Read more here: RepublicEN - The Energy and Enterprise Initiative

Conservation Hawks

From the Conservation Hawks website: As hunters & anglers, our mission is to defend our sporting heritage and pass on a healthy natural world to future generations of Americans. It’s time for sportsmen to stand up for our way of life, and for our kids and our grandkids. Conservation Hawks is registered as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with the Montana Secretary of State, and has received tax exempt status from the Montana Department of Revenue and the IRS. Our purpose, as defined in our Articles of Incorporation, is “to pass on a healthy natural world to the next generation of sportsmen, to defend our sporting heritage and traditions, and to educate hunters and anglers on the challenges and threats we face in the future. The Corporation will accomplish these goals through research, education, training, advocacy and public outreach.” Our name - Conservation Hawks is self-explanatory. We are conservationists of the Teddy Roosevelt school, dedicated to passing on the great outdoors to future generations. Hawks are proud, fierce, vigilant ... all the traits we hope to embody. As Conservation Hawks,
